Are you related to any of Hartford’s Founding Families? Or the early first 100 years of the Hartford Colony? Center Cemetery on Main St. East Hartford is good place to look for connections. What we now call Center Cemetery in East Hartford was actually the second burying ground for those of the Hartford settlement. It was given to the community in 1709 by John Pantry for the population living on the east side of the Great River.
