The Old Burial Yard at Thirty Mile Island at the Haddam Firehouse, Haddam, Connecticut

Thirty Mile Island Plantation Cemetery, also known as the Old Burial Yard of Thirty Mile Island, is the oldest known burying ground in Haddam, with its oldest surviving stone dating to 1711.
Join Historian Dan MacNeil for a presentation on Haddam’s Old Burial Yard at Thirty Mile Island, where we will discuss the significance of this location within local history and the recent research that has helped to uncover deeper portions of the past. Dan MacNeil is a historian from Rocky Hill, CT. Having earned his B.A. in history in 2019 from Central Connecticut State University, who the past year, has been working in museums, libraries, and historical societies societies and been giving history presentations to the public with the hope of sharing the importance of their surroundings.
